Welcome to Hydra Project Home
Hydra project is a client/server
plataform designed to assist systems administrators to configure and
administrate
their Unix-Like and Unix servers.
Both client and server are developed in C language, with the client frontend
being developed using GTK+.
At a first moment the
project will target its solutions only on Linux OS, but as the project grows support for
BSDs (client and server), Solaris
(client and server) and Windows (client only) will be added.
The project main goal is to
develop a tool that really help in system administration ... no matter how many
systems one have to administrate.

- Capability of using plugins to
assist the system administration and improve the software capabilities;
- Multiplataform;
- zlib compression;
- Cryptography between connections;
- Available in English, Brazillian
Portuguese and (maybe) German;

Installation and compilation instructions are available inside the tarball. You'll need -gui and -server.
At this moment we only have hydra available in Brazilian Portuguese, and people willing to translate it to English are welcome.
